Aaron Jeffery

Logie Award-winning actor from New Zealand and Australia, Aaron C. Jeffery. He is well-known for his roles in the film Terry Watson in Water Rats as well as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters and as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and moved to Australia when he was seventeen years old. He was a student at NIDA. He graduated from NIDA in 1993 and began his television career with the children's series Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best known for his character on McLeod's Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in the year 2008. He also appeared in the third season of New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was also on screen as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. The filming ended on the 22nd of June. Three days later Jeffery was officially confirmed as Bradley Fox's replacement for Neighbours for a period of two weeks. It was discovered in October that Jeffery was assigned as an Wentworth corrections officer. He was also featured in the Bevan Lee series Between Two Worlds for the Seven Network. In April 2021 it was revealed that Jeffery was to appear on Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. In both 2004 and 2007, Jeffery won the Silver Logie for the most Popular Actor in a Drama Series for his performance on McLeod's Daughters.
