Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy, born November 25, 1968, is a Canadian actor from Canada. Her most memorable roles include American television's Law & Order where she was the prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three seasons and Crossing Jordan for six. She has also appeared on films like RoboCop 3 (most wanted) and Crossing Jordan (which she also wrote and directed). Hennessy was born in Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy was her father. He was a meat marketer and an executive in sales and marketing. The job involved many trips and led to frequent family moves. Maxine Her mother was a secretary. Her daughter was taken away by Eleanor Her paternal grandmother who lived in Kitchener, Ontario. John Paul Hennessy Jr. is her younger brother. Jacqueline Hennessy is her identical twin sister. Jacqueline is an editor for a magazine in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish and French, Swedish, Italian and Swedish ancestry from her father. She also has most of her Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. After graduation from Grand River Collegiate Institute (both in Kitchener) She went to Stanley Park Senior Public School. She also busked in the Toronto subway. Hennessy and her sister were first actors when they appeared as twins in the 1988 film Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, revealed that she was shortlisted for The X-Files for Dana Scully's role. Hennessy also played the role of Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role as Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney in the show Law & Order. The role was occupied for three seasons before she quit the show in the year 1996.
