Kathleen Robertson Bio

Robertson was the first to be cast as Clare Arnold, a series regular, in the teen drama of Fox Beverly Hills, 90210 in 1994. From 1994 to 1997 she starred on the show during seasons 4-7. Her former boyfriend Gregg Araki, a director and actor, cast her in the role of Lucifer in 1997. Lucifer is one of an assortment of bored, alienated and very sexually attractive Los Angeles teens. Later, she was cast in another film of his, named Splendor (1999). Robertson has also been in numerous films in her career. She played opposite Luke Wilson in the romantic comedy Dog Park (1998). Sally Field directed Beautiful (2000) and Scary Movie 2 (2001). Her later roles were more serious. roles in the independent drama film XX/XY. She starred alongside Mark Ruffle. In the same year Robertson played the role of Evelyn Dick, a Canadian murdered and convicted criminal, whose trial remains the most sensationalized moment in Canadian criminal history. She played the role in the TV movie made for television, Torso: The Evelyn Dick Story. Robertson was nominated for an Gemini Award for her performance in the film. In 2002, Robertson starred as one of the lead characters on the short-lived Fox legal drama series Girls Club created by David E. Kelley. Then, she appeared in several independent films and was a guest star on Law & Order: Criminal Intent: Medium, CSI: Miami and Rookie Blue. She co-starred with Adrien Brody in Hollywood in 2006. From 2006 until 2007, she had the leading role in the Canadian comedy series The Business. In 2007, she starred in the Syfy miniseries Tin Man as the primary antagonist of the story.
