Tauheed Epps (also known as 2 Chainz), is an American hip hop and rapper artist. Georgia native, Epps started his musical career when he along with a friend from high school formed the hip hop group Playaz Circle. Their first album, 'Supply and Demand', was an average success. Epps later released "Based on a T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was an enormous success and debuted at the top spot on the US Billboard 200. It was an enormous success, selling 147,000 copies within the first week! Since the release of his album, there was no turning back. He became famous as one of America's most well-known rappers. He has been nominated in six Grammy categories, of which one was won by "No Problem." When his bag with promethazine and marijuana was found inside his luggage on a flight leaving Los Angeles International Airport, the singer was detained. But, his encounters with the law haven't impacted his popularity much. His fourth and current album of studio work, "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was came out in June of 2017. "Based on an R.U. Story, 2 Chainz’s first studio album, could be described as his debut work and also the most popular of his. The album was an enormous hit and reached the first place in the US Billboard 200. In only one week, it sold 17,000 copies. The album was sold out to 623,000 in a year. It was nominated at the 55th Grammy Awards for 'Best Rap Album'. The majority of reviews were mixed. 2 Chainz got married to Kesha Ward on March 31, 2013. The couple has three kids together, Heaven, Harmony, Halo. He is known for his bad behavior and his thriving career. He was arrested several times for possession of drugs.
