Alyson Le Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hannigan was born on March 24, 1974. American actress and host on TV, she is the daughter of actor Alyson Lee Hannigan. Her credits include Willow Rosenberg (1997-1903) in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lily Aldrin (2006), for which she won the People's Choice Award (2009), and Michelle Flaherty (99-2012). Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller the Fool Us is a show that has been on the air since 2016. Hannigan is also voiced by Claire Clancy, the animated character from Fancy Nancy (2018-2018). Hannigan was the only child of Emilie (Posner) Haas, an agent in real estate and Alan Hannigan, a Teamsters worker. Hannigan's mom is Jewish and her father is Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. Hannigan moved to Hollywood when she was in her twelfth year along with her mom. Her father was a casting agent in Santa Barbara while she was there. She auditioned. After high school, she attended California State University Northridge. In Northridge she was part of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and earned a psychology degree. Hannigan was the first actress to make an appearance in the 1988 film My Stepmother Is an Alien. Seth Green was also one of her co-stars, and was later her partner in Buffy. Her first TV series role came in 1989 and she was chosen as an actress on the ABC sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was only 14 years old aged when she started working as the babysitter for Bob Saget's children. Saget was Hannigan's How I Met Your Mother costar. Hannigan was later picked to portray Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's most beloved friend Buffy Summers. In 1997, Hannigan received the national spotlight. She also watched over Bob Saget's children on the TV show How I Met Your Mom. Angel allowed her to take on Willow's character in a few episodes.
