Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter (born July 23rd 1970) is an American actor from America. Cordelia Chase played the character as Cordelia in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's supernatural drama (1997-1999) and the spin-off show Angel (1999-04). She also appeared in Charmed (2004) and Kendall Casablanca's character in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was featured in The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada), the daughter of Christine Carpenter, a bird sanctuary worker and Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. Carpenter has Spanish, French, and German origin (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter attended Bishop Gorman High school located in Las Vegas. She was also a member of a music and dance group that was a part of the Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter moved with her family to Rosario Beach in Baja California, Mexico, at age 15 years old. She went to Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter was a frequent traveler throughout Europe after graduating. Carpenter returned to San Diego in 1991 and was employed as an aerobics instructor as well as a videostore clerk as well as a property manager. In 1991, she worked as a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team. In 1992, she moved to Los Angeles.While swimming in San Diego in 1991, she and two male friends were attacked by Henry Hubbard Jr., the former San Diego police officer and serial rapist, who attempted to subdue them using a gun. In the midst of the struggle the two friends as well as Hubbard were shot, causing him to flee the scene. Both of them survived the attack. Hubbard was arrested, convicted and sentenced to 56 years of prison for a series of rapes and robberies. Carpenter brought Hubbard his police-issue flashlight on the beach. Hubbard had left it in the area. This flashlight would become an important evidence piece against Hubbard.
